From the Pastor…

Dear Church Family,

Grace and peace to you in this season of resurrection and renewal! Spring is upon us and Easter is just a few weeks away. As we look around at the beauty and rebirth that is all around us, we are reminded of God’s abundant grace and the hope that we have in Christ.

Easter and the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith. We celebrate the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, and love over fear. The empty tomb proclaims the good news that Christ is risen! Because of this joyful news, we are offered a life of transformation and renewal where mercy, grace, and forgiveness abound. As the earth awakens from the stillness of winter, may our hearts be open to the new life that God has given to us.

As we have been on a journey through Lent, we have looked at the ways that we are called to participate in the work of God’s Kingdom. We have talked about the ways that we can grow in our faith journey through prayer, worship, and acts of kindness. Spring is a time of growth, and I urge you to continue to allow God to work in your life, stretching you to learn new things, to find new ways to serve and share the good news of Jesus, and to deepen your own relationship with God.

May our churches be beacons of hope in our communities. Let us walk together in faith as we pray that God would bless the work that we do in this holy season. And, may the joy of the risen Christ fill your hearts and homes.

In Christ’s Love & Service,

Pastor Lisa
